Small apps for iPhone
Useful first.
Pretty
always.
We’re a tiny studio making focused iPhone apps. Each one does one or two things really well, then adds a little delight, so it feels less like software and more like something you’d keep on your desk.

Mat
Your favorite moments, cut out and living on your home screen.
Point your camera at a friend, your dog, your lunch. Mat lifts it off the background right on your phone. Arrange your cutouts on a mat, decorate with stickers and paper letters, and it lives on your home screen as a widget. Start one with a friend and it shows up on both your phones.
- 01 Cut Snap or pick a photo. Mat lifts the subject in one tap, no editing.
- 02 Arrange Drag, layer and decorate your mat. It shows up as a widget.

Melt Ritual
Write down a negative thought. Hold, and watch it melt away.
A tiny ritual for letting go. Type the thought on a red page, press and hold the glass button, and watch it blur, liquify and drip off the screen. Nothing is saved. Only the count remains.
- 01 Write Type the thought. Lowercase, no judgment, nobody else sees it.
- 02 Melt Press and hold. It liquifies and drips away, gone for good.

How we work
Four rules we don’t break.
-
01
Two flows, not twenty.
Every app comes down to one or two things you actually come back for. We get those right before anything else is allowed in.
-
02
Works first, then delight.
Something that works, a layer of delight on top, and a feeling you could almost hold. No boring apps.
-
03
Made like objects.
A cutting mat. A melting page. Our apps borrow from real things, so they feel less like software and more like something you’d keep on your desk.

Shipped early, made in public.
We put apps in real hands fast, then keep making them better in the open. You can follow along as they get built.
About
A note from the maker.
I’ve been a designer for a decade: brands, products, interfaces that behave. Somewhere along the way every app started looking the same. Clean, gridded, forgettable.
This company is where I make the other kind. Small apps that solve one real thing, built with enough care that they feel like objects, not software. Anyone can ship features now. Taste is the part you can’t copy.
